What are A/V Extenders?

Audio Visual Extenders are modules that can be used on existing Ethernet cabling and allow users to drive their audio and video signals beyond the manufacturer specifications for standard AV equipment using composite coax (RG59), Component (YPbPr) RCA, S-Video, VGA , DVI and HMDI interfaces.

A/V extenders drive audio and video signals with high frequency transmission techniques over twisted pair wiring between geographically separated A/V devices such as security Video cameras to recorders. The A/V Extenders create very cost effective extended Audio and visual connections.
